RDTC is open every day of the year. The Tennis Summer Season starts in Sept/Oct, and commences with a special "LOVE TENNIS" event, supported by Tennis NZ, on Sunday 11th September.
All Club Members may use the courts free of charge at any other time. We also welcome paying-and-playing casuals.

Junior coaching usually takes place on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons during the Summer Season months, and on Saturday afternoons in Winter
We are privileged to have expert professional coach Hukaatai Hart, whose passion and enthusiasm for tennis is amazing. If juniors want to compete, we try and make that happen. If juniors just want to play for fun, that's great too. No pressure from us.
Every Saturday Afternoon from 2 pm to 4:00 pm throughout the year. We usually start promptly at 2.00 pm, and finish when we're done, usually between 3.30 and 4.00 pm. (Weather dependant - if it's raining we don't play.)
Summer Season
- We also play on Wednesday Evenings during daylight saving months, from 6.30 pm till twilight.

Non-members are very welcome.
Courts can be hired for $5 when is not in use and not scheduled as a clubday session (see above). However, casual players must vacate a court for card carrying Club members if the other courts are full.
Seniors - Appropriate sports clothes as suited to the weather and time of year.
